Michelle Vincent

ICONIC Allied Health was founded by Michelle Vincent in 2024.
Michelle Vincent is an Occupational Therapist with over 14 years’ experience in the field of paediatrics and adolescence. She qualified with a BSc Honours degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009 before completing postgraduate training in Ayres Sensory Integration through the South African Institute for Sensory Integration (SAISI).
In 2010 Michelle founded Michelle Vincent Occupational Therapy; a thriving and successful Paediatric Private Practice in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, which grew substantially in the 10years following this. In 2020, Michelle relocated to Australia to support the development of the paediatric brand for an established National NDIS registered company.
Michelle has extensive experience in running a paediatric practice, developing programs, collaborating with and supporting schools, training and supervising junior and senior therapists, running educational workshops, founding support groups for parents and siblings of children with developmental differences, and administering high quality, evidence-based therapy. With a passion for all things sensory, Michelle has a particular interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
She is driven to assisting individuals to obtain optimal occupational performance and independence, with a specific focus on individual potential and for setting goals that are relevant and meaningful to each individual and their family.
Over the past 3 years Michelle has developed a passion for facilitating access to services through the NDIS and digital platforms. Michelle is an advocate for early intervention and believes in working closely with parents, teachers and other professionals who form part of the child’s support team. Michelle additionally demonstrates expertise in the early teenage group, and sensory support across the lifespan.

Running, being on the beach, or hiking in the mountains. I am also passionate about learning and personal development and am therefore continuously reading up on new developments in the field of Occupational Therapy and attending workshops or completing questionnaires to deepen my knowledge and expertise in the field.
My Dream
Assisting little people and teens, and their families, to grow and develop and reach their individual potential. Also to re-establish a Sensory Integration Clinic which provides children and their families with a safe, fun and nurturing environment in which to collaborate with Allied Health Professionals and develop their skills.
