Our commitment lies in delivering personalized services that cater to the unique needs of your family. Here’s an overview of our offerings, though we advise parents to complete our intake form first. This allows us to recommend the assessment or intervention option that aligns best with your child’s needs.
Comprehensive Assessments
We employ a diverse range of standardized and non-standardized assessment tools to evaluate a child’s performance in both home and school settings. Our assessments delve into sensory processing, social interaction, play abilities, home and school functioning, gross and fine motor skills, visual perception, and fundamental concepts. This encompasses parent interviews, communication with the child’s teacher, one-on-one assessment sessions, comprehensive written reports, and feedback meetings.
Screeners
Screener options are available to schools to identify potential developmental challenges amongst learners within a group to enable further referral or recommendations for support. Schools interested in screening services are encouraged to reach out for further information.
Reporting
At ICONIC Allied Health, we believe that report writing serves as a vital tool to comprehensively document and communicate our assessments, interventions, and progress. Through meticulously crafted reports, we aim to provide clear insights, facilitate informed decision-making, and empower our clients and their families to actively participate in their therapeutic journey.
School Visits
School visits enable therapists to observe children in their school environment, gaining valuable insights into their strengths and weaknesses regarding participation and engagement, as well as to work at developing their skills within the relevant setting. This collaboration facilitates the implementation of strategies by therapists and teachers to support the child’s functioning at school.
Home visits
By observing a child in their home environment and collaborating with the child and their family, therapists can develop therapy goals that are pertinent and attainable. This approach also enables the identification of support strategies that can be applied effectively within the home setting.
Parent & Family Collaborations
Our therapists are dedicated to closely collaborating with family members, recognizing their significant influence on a child’s intervention progress.
Regularly scheduled parent feedback meetings and consultations ensure that therapy goals align with and adapt to the family’s evolving needs.
Teletherapy
At ICONIC Allied Health, we recognize the transformative potential of teletherapy in enhancing accessibility, flexibility, and continuity of care for our clients. Through teletherapy, individuals can access our services from the comfort of their own homes, eliminating geographical barriers and reducing travel time and costs. Additionally, teletherapy offers greater scheduling flexibility, allowing for appointments outside of traditional clinic hours. With secure and convenient online platforms, we maintain the same high standards of professionalism and effectiveness in delivering our evidence-based interventions.
Individual therapy sessions
At ICONIC Allied Health, we are dedicated to empowering children to develop essential daily skills necessary for their independence and well-being. Through personalized interventions and supportive guidance, we foster the growth of abilities such as self-care, communication, social interaction, and motor skills. Our holistic approach aims to equip children with the tools they need to thrive in their daily lives, promoting confidence and success in both home and community environments. We offer 30 minute, 45 minute and 60 minute sessions.
Group Intervention sessions
At ICONIC Allied Health, we believe in the transformative power of group therapy for children and adolescents. Group therapy offers a supportive environment where participants can connect with peers who share similar experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and understanding. Through collaborative activities and discussions, group therapy promotes social skills development, emotional regulation, and self-confidence. Additionally, group therapy provides opportunities for individuals to learn from one another, gain new perspectives, and build lasting relationships. At ICONIC Allied Health, we are committed to harnessing the unique benefits of group therapy to support the holistic growth and well-being of our clients.
Home programs
Home programs play a crucial role in extending therapy beyond “clinic walls”, empowering families to actively participate in their child’s progress. These personalized programs ensure continuity of care, reinforce therapeutic goals, and promote skill development in familiar environments. At ICONIC Allied Health, we emphasize the importance of home programs as integral components of comprehensive paediatric care, fostering independence and enhancing outcomes for our young clients.
